EVERYTHING IN MODERATION
I feel like this is something we’ve always heard. It’s interesting to me that this applies to so many things that are so good and we tend to overdo. For example our favorite food and drink. Our favorite moisturizer and exfoliator we overuse. We’ve also heard more is better when it comes to certain things. More food and drink taste better but in the end we realize we needed to eat an drink less because you were left not feeling good. Your favorite moisturizer that you can’t believe you finished the jar in 2 months when I told you it would last 3…the exfoliator that I suggested you use 3-4 times a week in the Summer and 1-2 times a week in the Winter has dried out your skin because if this makes your skin feel good using it more often must be better. And then what happens…you think the food doesn’t agree with you or the exfoliator and moisturizer weren’t right for you and really all you need to do was use them in moderation. Don’t under use them don’t over use them. Find a balance in the food you eat, your skin care and your life for that matter. It is all connected. If you are doing it in one part of your life you are doing it in others. So if it’s your food or your skin or even your thought process that needs a change do it in moderation. When you change the way you do things and think about things they change. If you find yourself saying “this is how I’ve always done it” be open to doing it differently. Make changes in moderation and find your balance. Pay attention to what you are doing and how you can change it so that you feel and look as good as you can…Now that is something I believe you can never have or do too much of.
