SELF CARE
What does self care look like to you right now? Life as we knew it has changed. How did your self care routine change? Hopefully given the circumstances for the better. Now more then ever before self care is a necessity. It is part of your wellness program. Did you know that self care can build your immune system? We know we all need a strong immune system to stay healthy. Your brain & gut communicate on a regular basis. So what you put in is being absorbed, listened to and responded to. So make sure your food & thoughts are healthy. Self care will promote this as well. When you take care of yourself it will not only show on the outside it will work on your inside. Lowering your cortisol levels (stress hormone) will in turn stop harmful inflammation and pre mature aging. The key here is consistance. This way your body knows to slow down, calm down, heal, & repair. Try it! Slow down, eat better, think better, sit in silence, listen more to what your body is saying, do a peel and a mask, get a facial, get your hair and nails done…read, journal, exercise. Do what works for you, that will work best for you!
